There’s a number of different events that STAG has been involved in organising to celebrate Gypsy, Roma & Traveller History Month this year.

Lucky Horseshoe painting workshop

In late June, with help from The Traveller Movement and Open Doors Education & Training, we are running an after school workshop for GRT children & young people with a connection to Southwark. We’re still confirming the date, as a result of COVID-19 uncertainties, but we’re planning lucky horseshoe painting, quizzes, gifts, refreshments and more. All to help spread the word about GRT history and culture while celebrating the month and getting together again. If you’re interested, please text Becky on 07745539629 to find out more and book a place.

We’re also very pleased to be involved in London-wide online celebrations in association with the Mayor of London which are taking place on 23rd and 24th June.
